Southville is a small, friendly, no-smoking, family-run guest house situated 100 yards from the beach and esplanade at Weymouth, with its own off street parking and well appointed rooms.
We want your time with us to be relaxed and comfortable. We will go out of our way to make sure that your stay is trouble free and that you will start every day of your stay with us feeling fresh and ready to face up to the challenge of the ensuing twenty four hours…. whether that’s a hectic day at work or a busy day relaxing on Weymouth’s award-winning beach!!
Here at Southville we care very much about the experience of every guest. Our sole purpose and more so during the Covid-19 and the impact this has had, we wish to reassure that the health and safety of our guests is of paramount importance.
The Southville is taking the standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. Please be assured that staff are adhering to the latest guidelines and hygiene protocols. All areas will be kept sanitised regularly, the dining room has been rearranged for social distancing.
Despite Staff wearing gloves and protective masks the friendly service will remain the same.

Our aim at Southville is to use the highest quality local produce wherever possible in our delicious breakfasts. Dorset is a county with a long farming tradition, and we think it important to use products that are made in the county.
